I felt so inspired by my Ballard Designs catalog I received over the weekend. I really like the understated elegance of black and white with just a subtle hint of color. Of course in my searches I found some delicious lavender finds of the wearable kind too.
How’s your outdoor decorating coming about where you live? Is it warm yet where you are? Is it teeny-tiny? Expansive?
I am determined that one day I will have purple lucite or acrylic chairs for my dining room and pretty wallpaper! Sigh..
TANGENT MOMENT
I am thinking of re-naming this blog “bold pretty”. What do you think? I found this as a title for an article recently. I must say it evokes all kinds of memories. It got me thinking.. of what it takes to be bold enough to be your best self without apology.
It got me flashing back to times in my life where I thought I looked alright. I thought I felt fine and like a hammer to a nail, one by one, something someone said, well, I must admit, I allowed it to shrink me over time.
I just want to tell you. Don’t let anyone shrink you. It might sting at times, but just shrug it off, straighten your shoulders and keep on with your fabulous self. Don’t allow anyone to take that from you.
If you are really struggling with self-confidence: I wrote this piece here about the beginning of a dark time for me. http://wp.me/p1RlA2-6W It’s ever so subtle on the way down friends but a long hike back up to where you belong.
Don’t shrink yourself to fit someone else’s life. Ever
P.S. Won’t you join me on facebook?

I love bold pretty…or Pretty and Bold. Or Pretty Bold but Beautiful!
Linda
Thanks Linda. I am really considering it. The tagline would be something like b/c it takes boldness to let your pretty shine through… or something like it. Really want my blog to inspire those who could use a little kick in the confidence.
